Don’t let the Colorado River go down the drain. Let’s protect the Colorado way of life we love for future generations. Outdoor activities like fishing, rafting and camping depend on healthy rivers. Soon, 80% of the Upper Colorado could be diverted to supply Front Range communities, leaving only a trickle behind. Add your voice by signing our online petition asking Denver Water to protect the Fraser River, a major tributary of the upper Colorado. There is an option for including your comments. Sign Now »

“My free time revolves around the river. You can fish year around in Colorado for trout, so I do. Some years it's hard to tell the difference between spring and fall flows - it all depends on how much they are diverting. Rafting the Fraser is also impacted by the diversion of water, it can get shut down whenever they have a call for water. I don't think a river and a water shed is supposed to be treated this way it's to big of a risk and I'm not willing to take.”
